We’ve been in and out this year and we miss our Cocoa Beach friends – its been a while but looking forward to December 13th, promise we’ll be there!
This year has been a trip like none I’ve known. First half was full of madness and miracle. June saw me through a cleanse, July was a steady hand, August was an awakening, September was a painful stretch, October is the grounding ground, November and December are my question marks and perhaps I’ll sleep. I don’t know what a good night’s rest is anymore, it’s been a long time.
Adela is in that stage of constantly talking over our conversations and she interrupts with tenacity…there is no hiding from an almost 4-year-old. These creatures are in constant motion and we are a hair away from signing her up for Montessori just to get a sliver of quiet. But like every other stage, this one I’m sure will pass quickly and she’ll suddenly be 21. We’ll live with the small drill sergeant.
Everyone is excited for the upcoming holiday season, but I will likely be found sweating away with my fellow Bikram yogis – I don’t think my kitchen will smell like apple pie any time soon. (Angela, we’re counting on you!)
Rejuvenating with family in NYC was so needed but how did we not get pictures of the 4 sisters together?? In the head maybe. And here we are, with love…
