Get ready to RAGE…for a good cause.
Seattle, WA – Pull out the sun block and pack up the floaties. The VERA Project is hosting its first ever TIDAL RAGE 2011 fundraiser on Saturday July 30th, sponsored by Washington Surf Academy and Ballard Surf, to benefit Surfrider Foundation’s ocean and beach conservation efforts. Featuring raging hardcore/punk music, a gallery flooded with beach-inspired art and an all-night raffle for goodies, TIDAL RAGE will almost make you forget the last nine miserable months of winter. Almost. Catch killer sound waves from Smooth Sailing, Great Falls, Android Hero and Monogamy Party. Buy a raffle ticket for the chance to win gnarly prizes like Standup Paddleboard Lessons for Two; original Silkscreened Poster Art and T-Shirts by MikoJoJo Apparel!
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 at the door or buy in advance at theveraproject.org. All proceeds support The Vera Project and the NW chapter of Surfrider Foundation. Surfrider is a non-profit grassroots organization with over 50,000 members and 90 chapters worldwide dedicated to protecting the world’s oceans and beaches.
